Privacy Policy — Railway TA Form Filler

1. Summary

Railway TA Form Filler does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your own device. The app has no internet permission at all, so it is technically incapable of sending your information anywhere.

2. Information you enter

The app stores the following on your device so that it can prepare your TA bill:

• Employee details — name, designation, pay, pay level, PF number, bill unit, branch, division, headquarters station
• Journey and halt entries — dates, times, train numbers, stations, purpose, diary entry numbers
• Optional profile photo, mobile number and email address, if you choose to add them
• An optional app PIN, stored only as a one-way hash (the PIN itself is never saved)

All of this is kept in a private database inside the app's own storage area. No account or sign-in is required, and no user profile is created on any server.

3. What the app does not do

• No data is collected or transmitted — the app requests no internet permission
• No analytics, tracking, advertising identifiers, or third-party SDKs of that kind
• No advertisements
• No location access, no contacts access, no microphone or camera background access
• Nothing is sold, rented, or shared with anyone

4. Files the app creates

• Bill files — the PDF and Word files you generate are saved in the app's own folder, and a copy goes to your phone's Downloads folder when you press Download.
• Backups — the app writes a backup file to Downloads / TA Diary Backup when you save a journey, and keeps the five most recent ones. You can also create one yourself from the Backup screen.
• Crash log — if the app closes unexpectedly, a plain text file describing the error is written to the same folder. It is never sent anywhere; you may open, share or delete it as you wish.

A file leaves the app only when you press Share and choose where to send it. That choice is entirely yours.

5. Permissions

• Storage (Android 9 and older only) — to save bill and backup files into the Downloads folder. On Android 10 and newer this permission is not needed and is not requested.
• Biometric / device credential — used only to unlock the app, if you turn that option on. Your fingerprint or face data is handled entirely by Android and is never seen by, or available to, this app.

The app requests no internet permission.

6. Children

Railway TA Form Filler is a workplace utility intended for adult employees. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

7. Your control

• You can edit or delete any journey, bill, or station at any time.
• You can lock the app with a PIN, and remove that PIN whenever you like.
• Uninstalling the app removes its database and internal files from your phone. Files already written to the Downloads folder stay there until you delete them yourself.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a new "Last updated" date.
